Giggling and Computer. But not AT the computer..

So here is our little giggle machine!

We are trying putting him to bed earlier, bath at 7:30 and than sleeping by 8. Last night was the first night, and he only woke up 3 times, eating twice. So, maybe this will be better for all of us? Plus, I get to go to bed earlier too! :)

And, I had finally got my computer, onely to have it give me a "disk read error" message, which sent me in restarting circles. Ug. So, it's back at the docs. The first time, the hardrive had nearly failed, and they didn't know if they could get all the pictures off of it. AHhh! But luckily they did...because we had lots of pictures of Coy's birth and first hours in there the we really needed! They DID get them off, but some of them have random lines thru them. At least we got them! So, let this be a lesson to you all....BACK UP YOUR COMPUTERS! :)

Yes, Coy is a sober baby, but he has been so smiley and silly lately. He'll find pleasure in the simplest things, and laugh at pretty much anyone who is goofy.

Auntie Sarah and Chase made a quick little trip out to MT, and we got to see them for a night! Thanks guys, Coy LOVED the extra attention! :)

We had a really nice day last week, and while mommy futzed with the rose bushed, Coy hung out in the stroller, chewin on things. He also finds fun in the clothes basket....which is good for me because I can do something for a few minutes without being too needed.

Correction...

Totally disregard that last post...Coy is NOT sleeping. We just had a few good nights, and got overexcited I guess. We knew it was too good to be true....sigh.
I have some really cute pictures to post, but my computer is at the doctor with a virus, and I will hopefully get it back soon. :) Till then, you can imagine our sweet baby boy. He's talking a LOT...gurgles and such. Right now he is screeching and jumping with joy as I type. You wonder what goes on in their little heads...as what I'm typing is not that exciting.... :)

the nights we've been waiting for...

Would you believe...that after FIVE months with horrible sleeping...we are FINALLY getting 8 hour nights? Its sooo nice...we couldn't remember what a full night of sleep was like. Or that it ever felt sooo good.

Shortly after being off dairy, chocolate and caffeine (even decaf), Coy no longer wakes up ever hour of the night crying. But let me tell you....there is NO cheating for me! Even a little hershey kiss and a teensy bit of coffee will set him off again for the next 2 nights. But...sleep is sooo worth it! And...so this is how we wake up in the morning....all happy and smiley!

The Need Triangle

Being mommies and honey's, we are needed so much. Baby needs fed, changes, held, bathed, attention, rocked, fed again, changed again. Honey needs love, dinner, stress relief, homework editing, clean jeans, then dinner again plus lunch for tomorrow.

But has anyone asked us lately what WE need?

A warm quiet bath, dinner out, a maid, girls vacay, an hour at the gym, just to be alone for ONCE, ..maybe a massage

Those would sure be nice...but I need my baby and honey the most. I love feeling needed.

I finally made BREAD!

All my fears are now layed to rest (something about killing yeast)
