Boys & Their Toys

Here are my boys, working on their toys! It's not a 800 Assault RMX (yes, I used google. and this, by the way...is a wicked sweet sled!!), but needs work anyway, and he knows for sure how to fix it.

Corn on the Cob and Octopus Legs

Coy eats EVERYTHING (actually edible or not) these days. Including corn on the cob (he's soooo his Grandpa Krishers grandson...LOVES it!) and octopus legs. Not real ones of course. Ick.

Grant Kohrs Ranch

Here are my new toys! A new washer and dryer. But I'm not sure I enjoy doing laundry as much as Coy enjoys wathing it... :)

In the hot weather...nothing tastes better then a popsicle!

Saturday, Coy and I went to Deer Lodge to the Grant Kohrs Ranch with Anna, Ellsa, Tessa, Jaci and a friend of Anna's and her two little girls. We watched the cowboys brand some calves, and took a short wagon ride.

Sweet Jaci!

Coy started immitating the bawling calves. He loved it! :)

After our picnic lunch, we tried to take a picture of the kids, but Coy was way too interested in the straw from the bale to look at the camera...total stinker!!

Munchkin cousins...Ella, Jaci, Coy, and Tessa Jane!

*NO, it's not twins. :)*

:)

Wow, what an amazing weekend! Friday afternoon, Logan and I dropped Coy off at Gramma Mary's house....and LEFT! (with a helper for farmers market to get up early, instead of us. hehe) Coy stayed overnight with her, being perfectly happy the whole time, while his Mommy and Daddy took a little sweet vacation! :) We stayed at a Bed and Breakfast near Seeley Lake Friday night, which was really relaxing. Our first stop on the way there, was to one of the many lakes nearby. It was nice and sunny, so we sat on the beach a little bit, watching all the families splash and play. Of course, that's when I started missing Coy really bad...and we had only been gone for an hour! (We knew he was happy and in good hands though, so we had to get over it quick.) For supper we went out for steak at the Hungry Bear, then went to Holland Lake for a romantic canoe ride at sunset. It was so amazing...quiet (except for the jetskis) and beautiful. And of course, I brought our nice camera...but no card! So, there are no pictures on file to share...we just took some pretty perfect mental pictures. We then got hot chocolate and walked along the rocky shore, enjoying the last bit of light, and our drinks..with LOTS of whipped cream! yumm! In the morning we had a delicious breakfast. The best part?...we didn't have to make it, or clean up! ;) After sleeping in, a leisure breakfast and a tour (the owners also have a darkroom, formulary, and classes there) we headed back into Seeley Lake for a walk thru the giftshops, a burger, and an icecream cone! Lucky for us, Harpers Lake is on the way home to Mary's, so we stopped there for a quick dip to cool off from the 95+ degree weather. Once back to Mary's, I couldn't wait to see Coy!!! He was sooo happy, playing outside with kids and friends, and Im pretty sure he didn't even miss us! Adrian, Anna, Logan and I then took a trip down the Blackfoot River...ahhhh. What a great way to slow down your day! The water was cold of course...just ask Logan. He spent a little time overboard....hahahahahah! Poor guy. Darn rapids. :) We couldn't have asked for a better summer weekend! It's just what we needed, to just relax, and go with the flow (and get lots of sun too, ouch!) Hope everyone else is having a good weekend!

These are some pictures from Holland Lake the summer of 2006 when we were dating.

I don't have too much to post...besides a few really cute pictures, but Coy has taken my camera to a very mysterious place. Stinker. So until I find it....
We had an appt with Jeanne (our midwife) today, and everything looks good. Baby's heartbeat was a strong 139 bpm. I have gained 5 lbs less then then I had at this point with Coy, so thats encouraging :)
At Coy's 9 month appt last week, he weighed 20 lbs 11 oz and is 28" long. He's growing so good, and developing into this little boy that is so cute and smart, with a fun yet serious personality. I love it! He's learning what buttons to push to make noise on his toys, and learning what side the cabinets doors open on (not without a lot of frusteration though, when the left side just won't budge!!). Im anxious to see how he'll interact with his baby brother when he's born! :)

Meet our newest little BOY!!

Summer Fun Fun Fun

What a big boy...walking with Auntie Beans!

We hung out on the Clark Fork River on a hot, hot, hot day! Coy's toes immedeatly curled up and he let out a holler when his toes touched the water...so hung out 3 feet above the water after that. We were there until, no joke, we had to leave because the cops/CSI were taking out a body there. Freaky! Turned out to be a fisherman from out of state that drowned. It was creepy though, I thought. But Sarah was intreged and wanted to see the body..eww.

Workin on a little tan...what a cute beach bum!

So he sat in a turtle pool after having to leave the river

I REALLY MISS MY SISTERS!!

I got really sweet "Welcome Home" roses from my sweet boys! :)

I love watching daddy and Coy..they are so silly!

Could we get ANY happier? hehe

We (i really mean just Coy...not me) are naked most of the time, since we still don't have central air (oh well). He's happy that way..and I am too because I dont have to struggle with the fight getting him dressed.

After Farmers Market on saturday, we headed over to Manhatten convention for a few meetings. On the way there, we just so happened to be on the road next to Logan's aunt and uncle from WA who were headed to MN, so we stopped in Butte and had supper together...which was nice because it was the first time I had met some of them. We stayed the night with Todd, Kay and little Aiden (17 mos) Kitto. It was fun to see the little boys together, they're going to be great buddies some day, just like their daddies! We watched the fireworks from their yard, then woke up bright and early (thanks COY! argh) Sunday morning and had 2 really nice meetings at convention again. Sunday before we headed back, we had an entertaining supper with Hugh and Carmen.
Now today, Coy has a 9 month appt, we HAVE OUR ULTRASOUND! Any guesses....boy or girl?

Closing...

I know it's been a while, and there had been a lot goin on, so i'll try to catch up now. :) We closed out of our house Tuesday morning, June 30th!! In the days before, we packed, cleaned, packed, cleaned, and packed some more. Oh boy, I think we took about 4 horse trailer loads out to our new place! It was crazy hectic, but Sarah came out for a few days and litterally saved me from goin crazy! :) She helped clean, and took care of Coy (which I don't think she minded too much..hehe) Monday night, Sarah took Coy home and put him to bed, while Logan and I finished packing till the house was sadly empty. We didn't get to sleep till nearly midnight...then woke up at 5 Tue. morning to go and finish sweeping and wipe down the floors. We then left for the title company and got there at 9 am. (It was a horrible morning, which I wont get into...) We got all the papers signed....
And here is Logan taking our name off the mailbox, and us..MORTGAGE FREE! (for a year at least anyhow..)

Goodbye first home! I DID cry of course...it has been a good house for us in our first years! But after that crazy morning, we got to go home to our "new home"! And a new year....we'll see where it leads us!! :)
