toy disclaimer?

WARNING: Such fun toys can tire baby :)

And here is Coys new toy! He's been wanting to be held and cuddled all the time, so we th0ught we'd get him something that will let him see more/do more, rather then be held. His feet touch the ground, so he can bounce a little bit....what fun!! :)
Good thing you only have to buy these fancy toys once! We oughta buy stock in Little Einstein!

Oh...and we had a bath in Grandma and Grandpas sink! He obviously like it too :)

Our Holiday

Well, Coy had a very nice first Christmas! Wed night we went up to Kalispell, and he finally got to meet his cousins Trenton, Kadyn & Spencer!! We had lots of fun hanging out and playing. Grandma babysat for a few hours too while Logan and I went truck shopping. She did a very good job...but I still had to call and see how he was doing. Looks like I was the one with a little seperationg anxiety...not Coy. The kids played out in the snow lots, but not Coy. :( I bundled him up in plenty, but he didn't do to well out there. So...we came inside and attempted to make cinnamon rolls. Took a few hours, as Coy had othe plans.
Like the pictures? Hugh and Carmen took them! We brought up our studio lights, and they took pictures with their new camera. Coy turned out to be a little ham, and smiled quite a bit, so that was good! It was a nice long weekend with family!
Parenting Question:
HOW DO YOU GET BABY TO SLEEP THRU THE NIGHT?
We're getting up 3-4 times a night (mainly to nurse)!!! It's getting rather exhausting!

Helping Daddy

Here are my boys fixnin the vaccum cleaner. Such hard workers :)

Flurries and Bananana Bread

(2 1/2 months)

(Aww...what a lil stud!)
Friday night we went to Mike & Lee's house (friends and co-workers) for Famous Daves (yumm) and watched the Griz play the Richmond Spiders in the championship game. They lost, but yay for the Spiders..they played well, and won their first championship game ever.
Then Saturday afternoon we ventured over to Anacaonda to see Adrian & Anna. We played games and took the girls pictures. It's much easier to take pictures of cuuuuuuute kids! :) Maybe I'll share some later :) We had fun, came home late, and slept in this morning. (Thanks Coy)
So...its really cold out again, and Im baking while Logan plays with Coy. Kevin Wilson is coming again tonight, and then some more workers tomorrow night. I hope to make cinnimon rolls tomorrow for Tuesday morning. I'm very intimidated by anything that has yeast in it, but I think I can handle cinn. rolls!! :)

Brrr

Coy thinks its too cold too. But, here he is in his little snowsuit...the one that's oddly getting too small already. Good thing he has like 3 of them. Now we move onto the teddy bear "snowsnoot" from Great Grandma Pheifer! :) Hope everyone is staying toasty!

Size 2 Huggies

Well, Coy has started wearing size TWO diapers now! And is just about officially in 3-6 month clothes. He's smiling so much now, and has reached for a few things. Wether that's coincidence or not, I don' know..but still cute and exciting :)
Yesterday was Missoula Special Meeting. I got about 20 mins of the first meeting, and then most of the last. He was just fussy and antsy during the first, and then in between, almost unconsolable. I know that he's got a little cold and wakes up really stuffy. So it was probably that, and there being so many people and so much noise at lunch time. But then he feel asleep and slept soundly thru most of the afternoon. They were good meetings though , from what I got. I just happened to be there at the right time to hear the right things. We're also looking forward to our worker visit for the night with Loren Coleman and Kevin Wilson!
Dude...is anyone else FREEZING?? This was negative degree weather with lots of wind is a hassle! So...Coy and mommy stay inside with a cup of hot chocolate. Now we need a fire place :)

PHEW!

I don't know many of you mommies measure diapers in the number of wipes, but I do. Usually his messy diapers are 3-wipers. Except for today. Today would have taken all the wipes in the WORLD if I chose that route!!!!! After being totally plugged for 2 days, when the mess came, it came all at once! So...rather than risking getting his mess in the few crevises that they weren't already in (like his ears?), i had to CUT off his onsie!! I carefully peeled off his diaper, and layed him in the tub, then to just hose him down with the shower head. As was expected, this was not a very pleasant experience for EITHER of us! But...he felt much better after all that hard work!

Such a content little boy :)

Our little ray of sunshine was actually a little hint of moon shine (haha) last night! He only got up twice to feed! And I tell ya, that extra sleep felt sooo good! Kinda like the good old days, when he used to sleep that much! So, now I'm awake and ready to go to the gym! Feels like a good day!

9 weeks

Coy now weighs 13 lbs 13 oz (95th percentile) and is 23 inches (77th percentil). So...we have a growing boy on our hands :) Dr. Arnold said that he's doing great, and has head support/movement of a 4 month old! He also got some shots. And yes, mommy cried too!!

For some reason, we've gone from 2 feeding a night to 3!?? And last night was a rough night..I ended up leaving Coy in bed with Logan, and I went and slept peacefully by myself in the guest room. Only for a little while of course...because little starving man needed more milk. Sigh...so...I went out and treated myself to a much needed, much deserved Espresso Truffle latte this morning :)

2 Months Already!

Our baby Coy is 2 months old! We love so much about him...his smile, his little noises when he yawns, the way he wiggles his hands and feet when he nurses, how he kicks and flails when he gets really happy or excited...

Coy has been focusing on things more! I lay him on the floor with a play arch over him, and kicks around and smiles at the toys "playing" with him. And when he's in his papasan swing, he can look up and watch the mobile turning or look at himself in the mirror. He also makes this little noise that's almost like a little laugh...a sucking in COO. It's so fun to watch him "discover" new things!!

Also, in mommy/housewife news...I bought a breadmaker today! Hopefully I will get a loaf or two made tomorrow. So I will have to let you know how they turn out. I would think that this is a no-fail deal, but with me, ya never know :)
