Welcome Welcome...

Lindsay says "Welcome to Motherhood". Today I did, again...with a little itty bitty half inch long light purple stretch mark. Sigh. No more bikini days for me ;) Belly pictures are comming...I promise.

Arizona...

Yes, I DID make it to Arizona! It was really fun to be with my family (except Ted) again...it always reminds me of when we were kids. I didn't take near as many pictures as I should have...just because its heavy and a pain to lug around when you're tryin to have fun. And...cause my camera battery died. I guess that's a good enough reason. We mostly just hung out and tanned by the pool. We went hiking (puff puff for the pregnant gal) at Picacho (NOT pronounced Pikachu, from Pokemon..haha) Peak, where I fell and got tiny cactus plant remnants stuck in my hand. After an hour and some wincing, most of them got out.
Cole is SOOOOO cute! He's got a little laugh that makes you roll on the floor laughing yourself, and he's jabbering a lot. I can't wait till our little guy is that age :) (and everyother age matter of fact)
We got to see where Kelvin works doing electrical work at the new prison. WOW! It's crazy...holding thousands of California's leftover "lifers" in three layers of electric fence and razor wire.
Us girls (and dad a little) made cute virgin fruity drinks to lay by the pool with. It must be a girl thing to have cute drinks...but they were soo good in the heat and the shimmer of the pool! I am very fortunate to say though, that even though I slathered on sun screen, i DID get a little burned...but now it's TAN :) I love Arizona (just in early spring) and my family!

Flight to Phoenix

Well, the flight to Phoenix never happened.
When I bought my ticket online, I have no idea how...but the page must have re-set, so I bought a ticket to VEGAS. So this afternoon, I was on a plane to VEGAS!!!! (fortunately still on the runway). I got off a few seconds before the plane closed, from hearing odd murmerings of VEGAS,.. NOT Phoenix. So...my luggage, which did NOT make it off the plane in time, is in VEGAS. In that, includes the only few of my clothes that still fit. So you can imagine, this happeneing, and being pregnant!! This was not only frusterating...it was DEVASTING! I got off the plane...called Logan to come get me, and CRIED!! I was supposed to be with my sister in a few hours!!

Theres more...but instead of upsetting myself again...I'll just tell you that I have another flight to PHOENIX tomorrow, and should be able to pick up my luggage near there on Thursday. Sigh.

Saturday

While Logans in the garage constructing a chicken coop, I'm inside cleaning, and baking to classical music. Anna B and Dorlene are comming tonight and staying till Monday. The day has gone by slow, due to waiting, boring cleaning, and a bad "moment" (a long moment) of morning sickness. Im feeling better now, so I guess I'm off to finish raspberry pie! :)

Last night we went up to Aunt Mary's for pizza, and played Settler of Catan with Trevor Kolden. Our last game, we played on a whim, just to see what would happen. For those of you who know Settlers, we turned the numbers upside down, and put our settlements wherever...THEN turned the numbers up. I was in a super productive spot, and would have been gethering PLENTY of sheep, on a 2 for 1 sheep port. Unfortunately, that means that that's the robbers first, and nearly ONLY favorite spot...

Confessions of a Pregnant Wife

I dropped my peanut butter toast upside down. I cried.
Forgot to mail the Qwest bill. I cried.
Shut my skirt in the door. I cried.
I saw a comedy. I cried.
I had to wait a few extra minutes longer. I cried.
Ran out of creamy, so had to use chunky peanut butter. I cried.

I felt our baby move for the first time! I smiled.
Then I cried.
