My Grandma Erna

My Grandma Erna is a special women, who could make plain chocolate malt-o-meal, and hambuger casserole taste gourmet. When I was little, she sang a song about cats to us in german. Her years of hard work made her strong and has a heart of gold. She may not remember us, but to me, she is as clear as a wonderful grandma can be!

too much of a good thing

Bottles and nuks are good..but certainly aren't put to use when you have LOTS of them! I've started some spring cleaning...and this is all that I found in the baby's cupboard. And this is all Bentley ever uses..

This nuk....and rarely this one bottle. Hmmm...think I'll ever need all those? Probably not...but they're just too cute to throw away. Too cute - that's why I bought them in the first place :)

Oh, and crayons are good....but certainly NOT a lot of it, and on the diaper genie!

There are soo many pictures from our fun trip to WI, but I just chose a "few" and put them into a slide show. We've been sick, and exhausted, but hopefully, just maybe, I'll write more about it later! :)

country breeze

there are no words to convey this feeling...completely relaxed in a bed in my old room, focusing on the candle flame marks, and the words i painted on my ceiling with i was 16. maybe its the smell of fresh baked oatmeal bread, or the familiar noise the bedroom door makes, slamming between its hinges, from the country breeze sucking the air out of the room from the open window.
i have to admit, my eyes are not dry as i say that i love this place. my real home. where i grew up.

Theres nothing more grand for a little boy then being with a grandpa who will run, read, play endless hours of tractors with him, and "someday take him fishing"

We are loving being home in Wisconsin!
