This morning was our FIRST Saturday morning to sleep in since we've been in our house!! So....until about 9 0'clock, our bed was warm and cozy. Then we fueled up on huckleberry waffles (Logans so sweet), and took off for Mt. Jumbo (right across the road). It was such a beautiful day!!! Unfortunately, I had to take a job at Linens n Things, and they require you to work some weekends. But...we had the most wonderful morning!
Sometimes you just wonder how you ever got so blessed!

Fall Gatherings

Friday night I drove down to Stevensville with caramel apples and a pumpkin pie...for a Potato bake and sing. The kids (& "big" kids) carved pumpkins, not only for fun...but for the sole purpose of making a mess :D Unfortunately, Logan had a group meeting for school, so it just myself.

This afternoon Dorlene & Alice are comming! Then hopefully the weather will be nice enough tomorrow to take their companion pictures!

Chelsea, Erin & Joel

Kristie Toole & Garett Williams

Nearly THEEEE cutest baby...

One of the many pumpkins carved. This one us MUCH scarrier then the one Shelby Coleman and I made....she opted for a "flower"

We Survived

We can really say that our marriage survived..... PIG SORTING! :D Some described the job as a "relationship tester" and so on and so forth...and not only did we get the job DONE....but we had FUN. I apolegize for not having pictures...they sure would have been interesting!

Happy Friday!

Apples & Such..

I DO feel a LITTLE guilty...sleeping in on Saturday mornings, but I have TOTAL faith in Logan, and his selling ability for Farm to Market Pork. So...that leaves me able to sleep in :D When i DID get there...I bought some apples, and am now making an Autumn Caramel Apple Cake (thanks to Alison's blog) for when Rodney and Amanda come for the night. It will be topped with whipped cream, and drizzled with caramel sauce. (Might need to go for a walk afterwards...haha)

Stacey (our renter and friend) brought up some smoked fish. They sure smell good...but I am not to keen on opening the fridge and finding black fish tails and HEADS in my face. I promised I'ld try one though. I babysat her son, Huxley yesterday...and had SO much fun playing the piano!

We are also super excited about this....

Wishing on Stars...

As I layed home in bed sick today, and missing Logan...I thought I'd share a little story...

Last summer, a Friday night, Erin, Logan, and I (just friends) hit DQ, then went down to the walking trail along the Clark Fork. It was getting dark, so hurring back walked Logan on the right side, Erin in the middle, then myself on the left hand side. In the sky, I saw a shooting star, so I couldn't help but say "Make a wish!!" Little did I know, that Logan and my wishes were the same! So lo and behold, on the bridge under Orange Street, we held hands for the first time...just minutes after we made our wishes on that shooting star. Isn't love wonderful?
