Our little ray of sunshine was actually a little hint of moon shine (haha) last night! He only got up twice to feed! And I tell ya, that extra sleep felt sooo good! Kinda like the good old days, when he used to sleep that much! So, now I'm awake and ready to go to the gym! Feels like a good day!

9 weeks

Coy now weighs 13 lbs 13 oz (95th percentile) and is 23 inches (77th percentil). So...we have a growing boy on our hands :) Dr. Arnold said that he's doing great, and has head support/movement of a 4 month old! He also got some shots. And yes, mommy cried too!!

For some reason, we've gone from 2 feeding a night to 3!?? And last night was a rough night..I ended up leaving Coy in bed with Logan, and I went and slept peacefully by myself in the guest room. Only for a little while of course...because little starving man needed more milk. Sigh...so...I went out and treated myself to a much needed, much deserved Espresso Truffle latte this morning :)

2 Months Already!

Our baby Coy is 2 months old! We love so much about him...his smile, his little noises when he yawns, the way he wiggles his hands and feet when he nurses, how he kicks and flails when he gets really happy or excited...

Coy has been focusing on things more! I lay him on the floor with a play arch over him, and kicks around and smiles at the toys "playing" with him. And when he's in his papasan swing, he can look up and watch the mobile turning or look at himself in the mirror. He also makes this little noise that's almost like a little laugh...a sucking in COO. It's so fun to watch him "discover" new things!!

Also, in mommy/housewife news...I bought a breadmaker today! Hopefully I will get a loaf or two made tomorrow. So I will have to let you know how they turn out. I would think that this is a no-fail deal, but with me, ya never know :)

Oh yes, plenty thanks! In fact, Coy sometimes chokes on it, and this morning it squirted out his little nose! Poor guy!

Reminds me if the time I spurted milk across the dinner table. But for mom's sake, we wont tell that story today!

sorry for not posting lately..and apologize in advance for any typing errors, as im typing with one hand.
yesterday was coy's first griz game! :) and you;d be pleased to know carmen, that he must have been bored, he slept th whole time!
we've been keeping busy. me with coy, and logan with lots of school work and work, and coy with eating, napping, making dirty diapers and being happy (most of the time). he;s smiling more, and making little happy noises when he's just lookin around. and...he's still growing! his 2 month appt isn't till into december, but when i stepped on the scale and then added a little boy..i instantly gained 13 lbs! and at 6.5 weeks old, he's into a few 3-6 month clothes! eep! he is sure a sweetie though :)
we leave on friday for wisconsin!!! ican't wait to start packing, and making lists already :) so this week i have to get the car cleaned for the long trip, and make some snacks and extra bottles for the road! we're sooo excited to see grandpa and grandma, the great ones too, aunts and uncles...im gettin more excited just writing about it!! :)
